Habitat: mostly open exposed area in evergreen+deciduous limestone vegetation, rugged and rocky, limestone bedrock. Annual epilithic herb, up to 40 cm tall. Lower stem pale light green to red-green, rest stem and inflorescence axes greenish red to maroon red, with glandular white hairs, pedicels maroon red with glandular white hairs, calyx bright green to dark maroon. Corolla wings white, lip light purple with 2 dark purple dots at base, style white, stigma dark purple, filaments white, anthers light orange-brown. Leaf blades green and moroon above, green-white below. Common. |
