Habitat: later stages of secondary growth and remnant evergreen forest with bamboo, granite bedrock. Perennial evergreen herb, up to 70 cm tall. Roots rigid, dull beige to dull orange-beige. Distal leaf sheats greenish white to greenish light brown, flowering shoot dark green. Pedicel green, sparsely lepidote red-brown pubescent. Sepals sparse lepidote pubescent, sepals and petals light greenish white to white, upper petal with bright yellow tip, column beige-white, anthers pale brown. Leaf blades rigid, dark green above, dark greyish green below. Flowers with slightly unpleasant fragrance. Uncommon. |
