Cultivated plant. It has a creeping rootstock about 15-30 cm high. The leaves are heart-shaped, alternated, and give out an unpleasant smell. The flowers are greenish-yellow and borne on a terminal spike 2 cm long with four to six white basal bracts. Fruits are sub-globose. Voucher specimen: Potential of the fermented plukaow product on oxidative stress and severity of inflammation in dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis mice. |
