Deciduous tree 9 m, dbh 32 cm; bark thin, cracked & flaking in 1-2 cm diameter pieces, grey; new layer brown; branchlets green, turning grey; inflorescences/infructescences axillary, solitary, peduncles dull green; inflorescences dry, on the ground syncarps soft, brown, turning dull light green outside, white inside; testa pinkish; leaves new, dull dark green above, dull light green below; tree leafless during January-February, sap abundant, white, from all cut parts. |
