Terrestrial herb 3-4 m. Rhizome moderate to long-creeping. Base of leafy shoot to 7 cm diam., tinged red. Sheath green. Young leaf tinged pale red. Inflorescence with up to 31 flowers. Bracts cream in lower thire; upper reddish brown, margin woolly. Dorsal petal 23 mm long, red. Labellum 45-51 เธ 17-20 mm, red, darker in centre, margin orange. Filament white. Anther and stigma red. Deposited at: BKF, E, QBG. Material in spirit. Photographed. DNA sampled. |
