Evergreen woody climber; basal diameter 6 cm; bark roughly corky thickened, ridged & grooved, tan; stems terete; branchlets, inflorescence axes, involucral bracts light green; pappus white; corollas pink, lobes rapidly fading whitish; anthers light orange; slightly fragrant; leaf blades dull dark green above, dull light green below; liquid from boiled roots drunk to relieve body aches & fevers. |
