Evergreen ground herb; rhizome pale light green with reddish outside, cream & slightly aromatic inside; leafy stems 212-357 cm tall, green, leafless part (included in total height) 113-155 cm; dull light green with dull violet; leaves 7-11; blades dark green above, light green below; inflorescence at ground level, peduncle & immature floral bracts whitish; bracts later with red tips; ovary cream; calyx whitish with dark red dots near base; corolla white; anthers cream, filaments & connective white. |
