Evergreen, gregarious ground herb; rhizome extensively creeping in soil, cream-light tan; leafy stems green, 165-192 cm long including 49-57 cm long leafless lower part; leaves 20-22, lowest ones 1/10 the size of the others; blades dull dark green above, light green below; peduncles light green to cream; immature capsules pale light green. |
