Shaded, fire-damaged place in very degraded, logged, deciduous, seasonal, hardwood forest mostly lacking bamboo; base of a rugged limestone hill deciduous, clustered, perennial ground herb, parasitic on roots of hardwood species; mostly in unisexual clusters; peduncle bracts & inflorescence axes whitish with a faint pale pinkish hue; male tepals pale dull pinkish; anthers pale light yellow-cream; female inflorescence dull maroon outside, pale light brown-violet inside; tubers brown outside, cream-very pale light yellow inside; leafless and lacking pholorophylla. |
