Deciduous, perennial, ground herb; stems green, lowest part dark violet; inflorescence nodding, axes light green; lower (large) bracts violet on both sides, floral bracts & calyx light green; corolla tube & lobes pale light yellow; staminodes & lip orange; lip with a bright dark orange spot medially inside; anther locules & filament very pale light yellow, wings translucent pale light yellow; leaf blades dull dark green above, dull light green underneath; locally common and scattered. |
