Evergreen tree, 26 m high. dbh. 58 cm. Bole: spreading at base. Bark: mid grey/brown to dark brown, flaking in large curling plates (like dried mud flats); middle bark pale pink; inner bark red, no latex or sap. Leaf: densely clustered along branches, blades glossy mid-green above, slightly brownish-cream below. Flower: calyx pale pink tinged yellow; anthers pale brown. |
