Shrub 1.5 m tall, basal diameter 15 mm; bark thin, brown, with horizontal rows of tan lenticels; inflorescence glandular-sticky; axes green; bracts & calyx green with light green venation, margins dark violet; corolla tube: narrow base white, expanded part light violet; lobes light violet on both sides, posterior 3-lobed, anterior 2-lobed; anthers cream and often with pinkish hue; filaments white with a pinkish hue; stigma/style white; odorless; leaf blades dark green above, pale light green underneath; locally common. |
