Partly shaded, fire-damage, very degraded, deciduous dipterocarp -oak, seasonal, hardwood forest; shale bedrock, rocky area with poor soil deciduous vine; stems terets, closely creeping up a tree trunk, adventitious roots climbing to substrate from a line along nodes & internodes; basal diameter 7 cm; epidermis smooth, tan, oldest parts roughly vertically cracked-ridged, brown; no sap, inflorescences dull light brown, inside paler, endosperm white, with irritating sap inside; leaves disarticulated on the ground, dry. |
