Mostly open, disturbed places in fire-damaged, degraded, deciduous dipterocarp-oak, seasonal, hardwood forest; phyllite bedrock deciduous, perennial, ground herb 1.5 m tall, stems several from ground level; stems light greenish-greyish; all inflorescence axes, involucral bracts whitish; flowers drys; leaf blades dull dark green above, place light green greyish underneath. |
