Deciduous, culm-forming herb, usually with 1-2 stems, to 1.2 m tall, inclined with upright inflorescence. Sheaths speckled dark red. Leaves c. 12/shoot, strongly plicate, plain green, pale below. inflorescences narrow with basal bulbils only in axis of bracts. Bracts and bracteoles green. Flowers orange-yellow, narrow, without spot on lip, filament pale at base. |
