Partly shaded, disturbed area in primary, evergreen, seasonal, hardwood forest sandstone bedrock evergreen ground herb, culms 3-4 m tall, basal diameter 5-10 mm, upper parts arounding; clumps very dense, each with 150-200 culms, 75-100 cm diameter, dull green; inflorescence axes & spikelets green, culms mostly leafless; leaf blades dull green above, light green underneath. |
