Terrestrial fern with thick creeping rhizome; rhizome 15 cm long, c. 2.5 x 1.5 cm thick. Stipe green; rachis green above, slightly reddish beneath. Fronds to 163 cm long, lamina 77 x 62 cm; c.6 pairs of pinnae, lower 3-4 pairs bipinnate, remainder simple. Lamina dark green and slightly shiny above, paler beneath. Immature sori pale green. |
