Terrestrial fern with erect rhizome to 10 cm tall, crown 4-5 cm diameter. Stipe with dark centre and pale margin. Frond with peculiar upside down appearance and backcurved pinnae; rachis zigzagged; to 103 cm long, lamina to 53 x 50 cm, basal pinnae largest. Lamina mid green above, hardly paler beneath. Sori orange-brown. |
