Habitat: edge road and degraded evergreen hardwood forest and pine (Pinus kesiya) plantation, granite bedrock. Evergreen tree, 16 m tall, dbh 45 cm. Bark brown, fissured and cracked, inner bark reddish orange, wood white, slightly fragrant. Peduncle light yellow with white hairs, pedicel and calyx pale light green-yellow. Petals greenish yellow, style light green, stigma green-white, ovary pale light green, filaments inner whorl bright green, anthers bright yellow, filaments outer whorl green, anthers pale yellow. Leaf blades dard green above, grey glaucous green below, with distinct yellow midveins. Locally common (planted?). |
