Hill evergreen forest. Undershrub 1 m high not common in shaded and moist area by trails. Flower heterostyly lous, creamy-yellow; calyx 4(-5); corolla 4; stamen 2; style 1, stigma emarginate; capsule 4 lobes with persistent calyx. *different from Pitard's description in the shape of stigma. |
