Deciduous ground herb, 30 m tall; rhizome cream; roots brown; sheaths maroon; petioles maroon with light green; inflorescence axes very pale light green; bracts: tip green, base very pale light green; sepals and posterior petals white; lip maroon with white; stamens and pistil white; ovary vary pale light green; leaf blades dark green above, light green below. |
