Partly open, very disturbed, secondary growth in fire-damaged, degraded, deciduous dipterocarp-oak, seasonal, hardwood + pine forest; sandstone bedrock evergreen treelet-shrub 1.5-2.5 m tall, basal diameter 10-20 mm; bark thin, smooth, light brown; branchets, inflorescence axes, calyx, immature berries light green; pedicels with reddish dorsally; petals 5, violet on both sides; anthers, stigma bluish; filaments, style dark, red; anther appendages yellow; leaf blades dull dark green above, light green underneath. |
