Deciduous tree, 18 m high. dbh. 17 cm. Bark: creamish-brown, rugged with raised lenticels; middle bark green; inner bark pale pink, fibrous. Flower: peduncle and pedicel pale green with red hairs; calyx cream with red hairs on outside of tube and at tips of lobes but white hairs in centre of lobes; inside of calyx tube dull red; other flower parts bright orange. |
