Tree, approx. 30 m high. dbh. 106 cm. Crown: partly deciduous, flushing into young leaf. Bole: spreading at base. Bark: mid grey/brown, flaking and finely cracked, rather brittle; middle bark green; inner bark cream to pale pink, fibrous, no latex/sap. Leaf: young leaves pale orange; mature leaves dark green above/ pale green below. Flower: peduncle pale yellow; tepals pale yellowish-green outside, dark red with yellow markings inside. See ST1693 for fruit. |
