Perennial herbs 20-60 cm high. Stems decumbent, often form dense colonies. Petioles sessile with leaf sheath, membranous, long-ciliate at mouth, purplish dark red. Leaves succulent, upper surface dark green with silver stripes and purplish dark red at margin, lower surface dark red glabrous. |
