Deciduous, culm-forming herb 30-50 cm tall, growing in deep shade near stream among sandstone boulders. Stems somewhat flattened with 5-6 leaves. Leaves plicate, purple below when young, turning light green. Inflorescence terminal, pendent, congested. Bractes white. enfolding cincinni. Bracteoles, ovary and calyx white, rest of flower pale yellow with reddish spot on lip. Fruits white, irregular lumpy. Bulbils not seen. |
