Terrestrial fern with erect rhizome. Scales few, large, brown. Stipes green above, pale brown beneath. Fronds to 127 cm long, lamina 95 x 37 cm, approx. 25-25 pairs of pinnae, widest around middle of lamina, sterile and fertile fronds same size; fertiles pinnae up to 11 pairs. Lamina dark green and shiny above, paler beneath. Fertile pinnae pale green with orange-brown sori. |
