Perennial herb 40-60 cm high; rhizome. Leaves upper surface dark green, glabrous, lower surface dark red with pale green along margin and midrib, glabrous. Bracts green, pubescent outside. Flowers white; bracteole roll around calyx tube, green, pubescenet outside. Sepals split on 1 side, white translucent. Petals white. Stamens; lateral staminoides white with red at base; labellum white and at dorsal red along midvein and margin at apex; anther crest absent; anther white. Pistil 1; stylodes white; ovary white; styles white; stigma obconical with hairy margin, not exert at anther. |
