Herbs 3-4 cm high. Leaves glabrous. Inflorescences bisexual in upper spike and empty in lower; pedicel bear spreading silky hair. Flowers numerous, grey white with brown. Glume; lower narrowly ovate, apex caudate, folded, spreading silky hair; upper similar. Lemmas narrowly ovate, apex acuminate with hair, margin entire, hyaline. Palea: narrowly ovate, apex acuminate, margin with entire, hyaline. Stamens 3; filament white; anther linear, yellow. Pistil 1; ovary superior; style 2, yellow; stigma 2, plumose yellow. |
