Perennial herb 30-50 cm high. Leaves green with scatter pink dot; petiole 2-4.5 cm long. Flowers violet; bracteoles 4 in 2 pairs, outer pair connect at base, 2 lips, pubescent outside, inner pair green, linear pubescent outside. Sepals small, usually obscured by bracteoles, membranous, white, pubescent. Petals resupinate 180 celsius; tube white at tube subcylindric and violet at throat, outside pubescent; upper lip ascending roll, violet pubescent; lower lip violet, outside pubescent. Filament violet, hairy below the middle; anther yellow. Style white; stigma brown. |
